In the field of water, the company offer a range of products including multiparameter water test kits, shower water filters, low-cost water purifying adsorbents, and wastewater treatment systems that use a combination of adsorption and electrochemical methods.These products are designed to help customers test and purify the water to ensure that it is safe for consumption and use.
In addition, the company also offers a range of fluoride test kits and removal systems. These products are designed to help customers test their water for the presence of fluoride, and if necessary, remove it to ensure that the water is safe for consumption.
In the field of energy, the company offers a range of products including energy storage systems, electrochemical wastewater treatment systems, electrocatalysts for supercapacitors and batteries, and electrochemical deposition processes. These products are designed to help customers store and manage energy more efficiently, as well as treat and purify the wastewater.
The company is committed to providing affordable and innovative solutions to meet the needs of various customers. Efforts are on to constantly researching and developing new products and technologies that will help the company to improve the quality of life for people around the globe.
The company is recognized and registered as a start-up by the Government of India under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is incubated at the Atal Incubation Centre- Jyothy Institute of Technology and are supported by the Centre for Incubation, Innovation, Research and Consultancy (CIIRC) in Bengaluru.
In the future, the company plans to expand its product offerings to include a wider range of water and energy solutions. SWES also plans to continue to invest in research and development to ensure that as a company it is always at the forefront of the latest advancements in these vistas.

Directors of the Company
Dr. H.B. Muralidhara
Dr. H.B. Muralidhara is a highly accomplished scientist with a Masters degree in General Chemistry and a Doctoral degree in nano electrochemistry. He has over 15 years of research experience in the fields of Nanotechnology and water purification, Energy Storage devices, electroplating, corrosion, electrochemical sensors, and OER/HER studies. He has successfully guided 6 PhD students and has published more than 75 articles in peer-reviewed international journals. He has also given talks at various conferences and entrepreneurdevelopment programs, and has completed several funded projects worth 2 crores. Dr. Muralidhara has received several awards, including the "MRSI Medal" by Materials ResearchSociety of India, and is currently the head of the Technology division at Shankara Water and Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd.
Gopalakrishna K is a highly experienced and accomplished mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in academia and research. He holds a Master's degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in production engineering from the University of Mysore and a Ph.D. in polymer tribology from NAL-VTU. His research interests include tribology, pneumatics and hydraulics, thermal engineering and engineering drawing. He has significant research publications in reputed journals and a monograph to his credit. He has been a consultant for Avni Energy and has supervised students for their doctoral work. He is also a Fellow of professional bodies such as IEI, ISTE, ISAMPE, and TSI.

Dr. Krishna Venkatesh
Dr. Krishna Venkatesh is a Mechanical Engineer and nanoengineer with over 25 years of experience in industry, research, academia, consulting, and administration. He is currently the Founder-Director of CIIRC®, a centralized research center at Jyothy Institute of Technology, and a member of the Vision Group on Nanotechnology and the Steering Committee of TUV Rheinland. He has established research and incubation labs in 18 different domains of science and technology, and has been responsible for more than 50 research projects worth crores of rupees, funded by various government and private organizations. He has published numerous research papers and holds several patents,and has been recognized with several awards for his work. He is also the Director of Drone Aerospace, a company that develops Micro Air Vehicles and represented India in The US Army Technology demonstration in 2008. His research interests include Tribology, Autonomous Systems and initiating start-ups. He is a Fellow of various professional bodies, an avid sports person and is also into white water rafting and spice farming.
